As part of the Foret Blanche ski area you will have access to 108 pistes many of which are above 2000 metres and will therefore typically have good snow conditions and fresh powder throughout the whole season.  For the times when snow fall is light, Risoul have 25 snow cannons to augment the snow on 35 km or 35% of their runs.  So skiing will be available even when snow fall is low. This resort has access to slopes for many ability levels.  Beginners can start on the five star rated long green slopes to get their feet wet before trying their hands at the blue pistes.  Foret Blanche has many five star options for the Intermediate skier.  Intermediate skiers will have plenty of both tree skiing and open skiing available for them to enjoy while on holiday.

And for the experts in your group, Foret Blanche has 8 black pistes available as well as some off-piste powder nearby in Risoul.  If they want more choices then it will be necessary to make a trip to Vars.  The queues to use the lift are short making for easy use of the slopes and plenty of time to ski.

Group Activities and Fun

For those in your group who want something else to do during the day, or who still have plenty of energy after a day of skiing, there are many other things to do in Risoul.  Risoul has restaurants, shops and bars that are active all day.

You can also enjoy skating at their ice skating rink if another wonderful winter activity is what you’re after.  Or you can take in a movie at the cinema if you want quiet in a warm space.  For the night owls in your group, there are also 2 night clubs in town so they can dance the night away.
