5 Must-Visit Destinations In America

The United States’ terrain is incredibly diverse and includes mountains, valleys, lakes, coasts, and canyons, among others. Depending on which state you travel through, you will always have a different experience. This means you could spend many years of your life going on vacation in America, and you still wouldn’t see everything that it has to offer.

When there are so many options to choose from, it might be hard to narrow your focus down on one state. Here are five different options for where you should go the next time you are traveling in America.

  • Utah

Utah is known for its many national parks, whether it’s the Bryce Canyon Park, the Zion National Park, the Canyonlands, and the Capitol Reef, to name a few.

This state is the perfect outdoor destination for individuals that enjoy walking and hiking in nature. You could even try mountain biking in one of the famous parks.

Although you are in hiker’s heaven, you will need to find a comfortable place to sleep at night after your long days spent on your feet. You should consider booking accommodation that is nearby the park you are visiting so that you don’t have to waste time getting to your bed.

Take the example of the comfortable and scenic lodging in Bryce Canyon. When you are in such close proximity to the park, you can easily wake up in the morning for a sunrise hike.

  • New York

The state of New York hosts one of the world’s most famous cities, New York City. It is the city that you’ve seen in countless movies and television series, and this place is a must-visit at least once in your lifetime.

The food and culture alone will keep you entertained for hours and days, and you will never experience even a second of boredom when you visit this place.

  • California

California is another good state to visit because it has something for everyone. It is a particularly appealing destination during the summer months because of all the beaches, but aside from this they have:

  • Theme parks
  • Scenic nature
  • Celebrity spottings

  • Arizona

Arizona is known for its desert, mountains, and gorges, but most people think about the Grand Canyon when they think about this state. The sunsets and sunrises that you would witness in the desert are unparalleled to other sights that you will see elsewhere.

If this wasn’t enough to convince you, the diverse wildlife and scenic walks you can take is the cherry on top for why you should visit Arizona.

  • Alaska

Alaska is geographically further away from other states, but this shouldn’t deter you from visiting it. The highest mountain peak in North America is located in Alaska, so it is another destination that hikers will love spending time in.

While this state is beautiful to visit in summer and winter alike, make sure that your vehicle has durable winter tires for those cold and snowy Alaskan winters.

If you don’t live in the United States, you should visit it at least once in your life. If you are already a resident, you should seriously consider making your next vacation a road trip through one of the 50 states – you won’t regret it.
